Together We Can Make A Difference

Pearson Place

This year has been a hectic year for The Pearson Foundation of Hawaii, Inc. Our previous president, Ruth Prinzivalli, moved this past fall to be closer to family in Rochester, New York, her original hometown. She stayed involved helping us transition a new leadership team up until she and her husband Dick departed to the mainland. Our leases were expiring at both the Pearl City and Dillingham locations. We assessed the pros and cons of the current locations and determined it would be better to move closer to the downtown area and be on busy bus routes. We prayed that God would help us find office space that was optimally located and had a rent and operating expenses we could afford as good stewards of our donated funds. God is faithful and heard our prayers. On Sunday, December 8, 2019, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we held our first Open House with Bishop Larry Silva blessing our new center. We are now operating at the new location at 1145 Bishop Street, which happens to be right above Pauline Books and Media. We have our own Bishop Street access and very visible outdoor sign. Simultaneously, our Board of Directors decided to freshen up our brochures/logo and name and replaced “Pregnancy Problem Center” with “Pearson Place.” Many amazing people such as board members, volunteers, community members, and donors helped to make this all possible. We are grateful for the awesome privilege of being able to help our clients choose life. We could not do it without each and every one of you. You made this all possible. With deepest heartfelt love and thanks, Susan Duffy, President The Pearson Foundation of Hawaii, Inc.
